Boronia $1.8m more than mere chickenfeed

THE Boronia office and warehouse of a stockfeed and pet distribution company has sold to an undisclosed local business for $1.8 million. CB Richard Ellis agent David Aiello said the off-market deal for the 3297 square metre site on Mountain Highway reflected renewed demand in B and C-grade properties. "Owner-occupiers are taking advantage of the recent falls in property values and cheap interest rates to secure larger premises to cater for their future growth requirements," he said.Radio wavesSOUTHERN Cross Broadcasting is selling a "funky" South Melbourne building following its decision to shift about 30 staff to a city office. The three-storey building at 70 Park Street is expected to fetch more than $6 million.
